Kwan Yin is also known as the patroness of women and birth, recognized as the Fertility Goddess. She is a great defender of the weak and the ill and especially children and babies. The gentle Protectress also has a strong resonance with Virgin Mary, surrounding us with unconditional love. She is also the one to call upon in times of difficulty and peril.
